Baran (born on 4 January in Mahabad, Iran) is an Iranian Pop Recording Artist. Fluent in 4 languages (English, French, Farsi & Kurdish), she is the youngest of 4, and at the age of 11, Baran moved to Canada with her family. As a teenager, she began vocal training at a prestigious musical centre. Baran attained her business degree in Canada. Baran´s first pop single (Hesse Asheghi) was a collaboration with Iranian pop singer Jamshid. After the single, it was proposed that Baran begins the creation of her first album. On February 26th 2013, Baran released the single Ziadi from her first album. Not long after the song Ziadi reached the top of the Pop chart. Baran also collaborated on a book “88-Ways How Music Can Change Your Life”, with the famous American writer Mr Vincent James in 2015 for helping raise money for School (and other) Music Programs. Baran was the winner of the “Best New Female Artist Of Iran” at the “Big Apple Music Awards 2015” an international music awards that took place at the O² Arena, Hamburg, Germany.
